This role is within our Consumer Commercial Digital Products (CCDP) team, which is using digital technologies to reinvent the experience of becoming a Volvo customer. There's no reason the experience of buying a car should be painful and difficult - it should be as enjoyable and exciting as actually having a new car. That is our mission. This is a rapidly growing team, and we are looking for outstanding people who will be some of the earliest hires in their function, helping to establish it at Volvo Cars.
Job Description:
This position will be responsible to support the Product Owner and the Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to delight customers. You will guide and coach the Scrum team as well as the Development team and help them get the most out of self organization to lift them at a higher level of maturity on a pace that is sustainable for the team. You will build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised with an emphasis on healing and problem solving.
All in all - you personify Scrum and Agile!
Required Skills:
The skills we think are needed to take on this challenge would be a first level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM) and at least 5 years experience as a Scrum Master. Good skills in leadership, facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment and conflict resolution are valuable in the role. We also think that you should have the knowledge of other approaches in the Agile space such as XP, Kanban, Nexus, LeSS, SAFe, Crystal, FDD etc.
A Bachelors degree together with at least 5 years work experience in Scrum/Agile software development is required. A second or third level Scrum master certification (PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC) is a preferred and we hope you share our passion for custormers, cars and development in the automotive industry.
