This role is within our Consumer Commercial Digital Products (CCDP) team, which is using digital technologies to reinvent the experience of becoming a Volvo customer. There's no reason the experience of buying a car should be painful and difficult - it should be as enjoyable and exciting as actually having a new car. That is our mission. This is a rapidly growing team, and we are looking for outstanding people who will be some of the earliest hires in their function, helping to establish it at Volvo Cars.
Job description
Your job will be to support the Product Owner and the Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to delight customers. By guiding and coaching the Scrum team and the Development team you help them getting the most out of self organization and lift them to a higher level of maturity at a pace that is sustainable for the team. You build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised with an emphasis on healing and problem solving.
All in all - you personify Scrum and Agile!
Required Skills
The skills we think are needed to assume this challenge is first level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM) and at least 5 years experience as Scrum Master. Good skills in servant leadership, facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment and conflict resolution are valuable in the role. We also think you have knowledge of other approaches in the Agile space such as XP, Kanban, Nexus, LeSS, SAFe, Crystal, FDD et.c.
A Batchelors degree together with at least 5 years work experience in Scrum/Agile software development is required. A second or third level Scrum master certification (PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC) is a merit and we hope you share our passion for custormers, cars and development in the automotive industry.
