Our new college will act as Scrum Master for two agile development teams. The Teams are working according to Scrum principles and the SAFe Framework. Both teams are developing advanced hardware devices for machinery equipment. The Scrum Master is the servant leader for these Teams, has Process Authority on team level and is responsible for promoting and supporting an agile culture. This is done by helping everyone understand Lean-Agile theory, practices, rules, and values.
The first team is currently developing the next generation on-line condition monitoring device. A high-specification product, capable of predicting machine failures, measure machine condition indicators, detect anomalies, perform diagnostics, and determine maintenance actions.
The second team is developing the Gateway to a sensor network for data collection; consisting of an autonomous battery powered wireless vibration and temperature sensor.
Common work tasks:
• Coach the Teams toward high-performance
• Facilitate team events, e.g. Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Iteration Review, and Iteration Retrospective
• Remove obstacles and protect the Teams from distractions.
• Support the Teams Product Owner to manage the backlog and facilitate a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.
• Lead the Teams efforts for relentless improvements.
• Increase the Teams abilities for self-management and problem solving.
• Manage, visualize, and share items like Sprint Progress, Capacity, Velocity and Burn-down charts
Requirements:
• A Servant Leader that listens and supports team members.
• Good knowledge and practice in Scrum Methodology.
• The ability to encourage and support a Teams continuous development.
• We have English speaking team members and use English as the team language, so a good command of the English language is required.
Important competence/experience:
• Knowledge of the Scrum and the SAFe Framework.
• Experience working with embedded product development, including electronics hardware, embedded software, and mechanical components.
