Who are we?
Volvo Cars is a company on a mission; to bring traditional car manufacturing into a connected, sustainable and smart future.
Since 1927, we have been a brand known for our commitment to safety, creating innovative cars that make life less complicated for our consumers. In 2010, we decided to transform our business, resulting in a totally new generation of cars and technologies, as well as steady growth and record sales. Today, we're expanding our global footprint in Europe, China and the US, and we're on the lookout for new talent.
We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars' journey into the future.

Scrum Master for Core Compu in new Software Platform
We imagine that our friends, families, and children are transported in a personal, sustainable, and safe way. What we build is a self-driving, fully electric, connected, and super safe Volvo Car.
To make this reality, we build a new platform. The heart of the platform will be a core computer with the capacity to carry a vast majority of electric control units and applications- a vehicle control unit. In our part of the R&D, we code the base software on the computer to refine computational power and to enable successful integration with applications.
The future vehicle with a core computer-in-the-car-architecture- will enable advanced connectivity, machine learning, and autonomous drive. But we are not yet there.

About our R&D - Core System Software
In our part of the R&D, we code the base software on the Core Computer to refine computational power and to enable successful integration with applications. Our teams work in an agile manner organized according to SAFe to be able to quickly adjust to changing requirements. We work with an a-state-of-the-art embedded multiprocessor environment from Nvidia including hypervisors, Linux, QNX, Rust and other modern technologies.

Role Specifics - Scrum Master
As a Scrum Master you will be an important part of our Agile Release Train (ART). You will work together with other agile leaders to create a high-performance organization. We are relying on our Scrum Masters to be servant leaders and coach the teams using agile team practices with focus on flow and taking lead in continuous improvements.

Main responsibilities
Support the teams to embrace, adopt and apply agile principles and practices. Facilitate the team's progress toward team goals by focusing on improving performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow and velocity as well as staying focused on the team's iteration goals. Facilitate team meetings like the daily stand-up, iteration planning, demo and retrospective. Support the Product Owner in their efforts to manage the backlog with respect to priorities and scope. Communicate with management and stakeholders, collaborate with other Scrum Masters to learn and improve own profession. Facilitate preparation and readiness for ART ceremonies like PI Planning, System Demos and the Inspect and Adapt

We are looking for you who are a true servant leader with an agile mindset. You have B.S in Software Engineering and/or Software Science or similar
