We need a software architecture that enables us to utilize the hardware and to support a fast-moving organization and development. In addition, we are in a transformation with our products and our company to become more of a software-driven company. Our strategic and operational work on our SW & Electronics Core System plays an important role in enabling this transformation. In this quest of pushing the boundaries we need people with competence and know-how within development of complex Software and Embedded System.
About us - SW & Electronics Core System (ART SWECS)
In the execution of our development strategy, there is a need of a focus on balancing and securing the system characteristics for the Core System with all applications (i.e. "SW-on-HW Core System"). The distributed way of working will stress the need of centralized guidance and quality assurance.
This centralized guidance is driven by SW & Electronics Core System (ART SWECS) with the main tasks of: Set, guide, drive and guard the coherence to the Strategies & Architecture ensuring the Core System quality and performance. Manage and balance shared Core System resources. Ensure integration, test, troubleshooting and optimization for the shared Core System resources. Run release- and life cycle management.
To support this, the structural/organizational setup will initially have 3 types of teams. One in each of the areas Architecture, Integration and Release, each led by one PO and coached by a Scrum master. The manning of those teams is handled by a Team Manager.
What will you do?
As a Scrum Master, you will be an important part of our Agile Release Train (ART). You will work together with other agile leaders to create a high-performance organization. We are relying on our Scrum Masters to be servant leaders and coach the teams using agile team practices with a focus on flow and taking lead in continuous improvements.
Main responsibilities, Support the teams to embrace, adopt and apply agile principles and practices. Facilitate the team's progress toward team goals by focusing on improving performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity as well as staying focused on the team's iteration goals. Facilitate team meetings like the daily stand-up, iteration planning, demo, and retrospective. Support the Product Owner in their efforts to manage the backlog with respect to priorities and scope. Communicate with management and stakeholders, collaborate with other Scrum Masters to learn and improve your own profession. Facilitate preparation and readiness for ART ceremonies like PI Planning, System Demos, and the Inspect and Adapt.

You are curious, positive, and a true people-person. We believe that you have a strong drive to engage and support teams and people. Your communication skills are excellent and you value collaboration and balancing of different stakeholder. To be successful in this role you need to be open-minded towards new tools, solutions, and maybe most important, other team members. A large part of the work is bringing different technologies and people together into a coherent solution that is well-aligned and highly effective. You have M.Sc in Electrical and/or Software Engineering or similar relevant experience and a genuine interest in Automotive Software- and Electronics Architecture. You are self-driven with ability to clearly express the connections between larger business goals and small backlog items.
Competence and experience are important, but personality is key! To fit this position, you need to be passionate about people and our products and have a human-centric approach when working with our products and services. We believe that you are a servant leader that focuses on the deliveries as much as the people in the teams. You are structured and target-focused with a great ability to keep a holistic/strategic mindset rather than getting stuck in details. Further, you are a great communicator and networker, engaging people throughout the entire organization which makes it easy for you to collaborate with people from individual- to team- to manager- level. It comes naturally for you to build trust, and you are open-minded, always putting your team's needs first without prestige. We also believe that your curiosity seeks you to learn new things and areas within the range of our future products and services.
