The Deceleration & Steering ART (Agile Release Train), is a part of Vehicle Platform. The Steering teams are responsible for the vehicle steering functions and we develop steering functions for conventional and AD controlled vehicles. We have both in-house and supplier developed solutions. We research future systems for our portfolio such as Steer by Wire and Rear Wheel Steering. We work with platform solutions where we strive to lead and shape the development on future shared platforms between Volvo, Polestar, Geely and Lotus.
Now we are in the search for a dedicated colleague within the ART who will work as Scrum Master within our teams Haadax & Wasabi. The teams consist of highly skilled engineers working with supplier developed SW & HW for steering column but also coordinating with our in-house SW development team that develop new functionality within steering SW as well as with other parts of the company. What you will do
As a Scrum Master (ScM) you will continuously work with coaching the Scrum teams, refining the team's processes, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and removing impediments.
You will have a close collaboration with the Product Owner, Team Managers and other people with interface to the teams.
You are part of a Scrum master community to share experience, ideas and contribute to drive change throughout the whole ART.
You will communicate status, escalate and track issues when required and be transparent in documentation and communication.

You will also
• Support the team's agile ways of working like Scrum ceremonies, Kanban, Definition-of-Done, WIP limits, continuous improvements etc.
• Lead team efforts in continuous improvement by helping the team in retrospectives and take responsibility for their improvement actions.
• Facilitate all team meetings like the daily stand-up, iteration planning, demo and retrospective.
• Communicate with management and outside stakeholders to protect the team from uncontrolled injection of work.
• Facilitate preparation and readiness for ART ceremonies like PI Planning, System Demos and the Inspect and Adapt.

Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for you that are very strong in both formal and influential/inspirational leadership such as coaching, active listening and empowering teams and people with Scrum Master experience.
You have a M.Sc. in Controls and Mechatronics, mechanical, Electronical or Computer Science Engineering or equivalent and preferable some years' experience within product development.
You are fluent in English (spoken and written) and You have the ability to lead teams, apply a holistic and strategic approach, motivate and create confidence in the team. You make things happen without someone telling you what to do.

We think that you have found the advantages of Scrum and SAFe way of working and can motivate and support others in this area.
You prefer to plan and solve problems in a structured manner.
You are very comfortable to cooperate and communicate with people on different levels in the organization and have an interest and competence in Agile working methods.
You have the ability to energize employees and make things happen.
You are curious and continuously searching for new knowledge! We like a hands-on approach to problems - learn by doing! Find new and better ways, and you motivate teams to do so as well
