Are you interested in instrument development at innovative medtech company in Uppsala? Do you have necessary skills in script development and an interest for hardware as well as software? Is trouble shooting the best way to work?
We are looking to strengthen the System Integration team at a small to medium sized medtech company, Cavidi, in Uppsala. This role is needed in order to secure the finalization of a large product development project aiming to automate a test for measuring HIV viral load in blood plasma samples. The main work task will be to support script development and finalization for Cavidi's proprietary ZivaTM platform to secure fully integrated (assay, software and hardware) systems for verification studies including documentation of the scripts (i.e. script design description). A candidate with the right experience will also be included in the verification, troubleshooting and deviation handling.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone holding a Master of Science, either with a biotechnology profile, or a more technical background with interest in biotechnology and life science. You should have experience from working with software and scripts for instrument and system development, preferably from life science and medtech. If you are a junior or senior are of less importance. Previous experience in working with liquid handling robots is advantageous. You have to be fluent in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is not a strict requirement.
Personal characteristics
You have to be structured, thorough and have great deal of patience in this role. You understand the importance of documenting your work and you agree that a complete delivery includes the required documentation. You also honour deadlines, are able to deliver according to set plans and clearly communicate any deviations as soon as they occur.
The position
This assignment is a full time position as a consultant during 6 months through Dfind with fixed salary. Depending on your profile a temporary or fixed employment may be preferred. The ambition is a long term perspective with a good chance of continuation.
