Assignment Duration: This is a consultant assignment where you will be employed by us but work with the client 6 months, with the possibility of extension or direct employment with the client.
Job Description:
In the role of SCM Specialist, you will support the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of SCM activities. You will be responsible for local procurement plans to achieve business targets and support regional and global initiatives. Your main responsibilities include:
* Supporting strategic procurement activities in close collaboration with the category manager.
* Conducting RFQs and RFPs for project execution.
* Updating costs against budget targets and issuing accurate quotation comparisons.
* Initiating purchase orders and supporting the collection of order acknowledgments from suppliers.
* Ensuring timely responses from suppliers and meeting internal demands and schedules.
* Uploading and maintaining standard agreements/contracts in SAP Ariba.
* Cultivating good relationships with suppliers and ensuring their compliance with laws, standards, certificates, and directives.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You are described as energetic, motivated, and confident, capable of managing both successes and challenges.
Requirements:
* Academic degree in a relevant field: BE (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical), Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
* Professional experience in supply chain, category management, strategic procurement, or project management.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Swedish is advantageous.
* Experience in HVDC projects is a plus.
