HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.

Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for the procurement activities in our HVDC projects and tenders
You will work together with a team of category managers, transport managers, logistic planners, supplier quality engineers and others to drive and ensure that the goods and materials are procured, produced, and delivered on budget, on time and with quality to our project sites worldwide
You will have a key role interacting with HVDC stakeholders in tender and project execution
Responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business
Your background
You have genuine interest in technical components and systems
Academic degree in a relevant field: Engineering, Business & Administration, Supply Chain Management or Law, or equivalent experience
Preferably you have 5+ years of experience of project management or procurement. Moreover, it would be great if you have experience from a global organization.
You are a team player with strong communicative and collaborative skills, and you enjoy interacting with other people
We would like to see that you are energetic, endurant, autonomous, and stress resilient. You are open to changes, value integrity, get things done in a timely manner, and always drive for efficiency.
Proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken
