DU Core IMS is providing our customer Circuit Switched and IP Multimedia Networks solutions that promote our customers' business growth by enabling them to offer superior services at competitive cost. We develop Core products and solutions (Mobile, Wireline, User Management, IMS, Common Components and AXE) and handle product Introduction/FOA execution, support and maintenance of installed base and also work with Technology and architecture evolution, Standardization, R&D life cycle management and R&D efficiency improvements and Operational Excellence
We are currently looking for both Senior Software Developers and newly graduates, with focus on SW development in either the product or the tools area for the IMS nodes. Your role will be to work in all different aspects of the SW developer role, including making analysis of requirements, perform SW design, SW implementation, and to execute development related test activities.
You will be part of a dynamic development team. The team is responsible for all development phases from pre-study to development including test and delivery. We are using an agile ways of working, which means that we are working in cross functional teams with SW developers with system management, design and test focus, developing the software iterative.
The work includes tasks such as:
• Performing pre study work, including requirements and feature analysis and breakdown, including time estimations.
• Implementation (coding) of SW for new features in the target system.
• Implementing automated test cases and executing tests in SW development related test activities, including unit and function test.
• Writing development related documentation.
• Participating in the improvement work with developing the processes and tools.
You have an academic degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent and relevant experiences in software development.
You have a genuine passion for SW development and are interested in all aspects in the SW development area.
You are keen on solving problems as they arise and have a genuine technical interest in understanding the systems requirements and the end to end perspective.
Your English is fluent and you are a pragmatic, people and solution oriented person who has proven communication and team skills as well as proven skills in working in a distributed and international organization.
Must have:
• Solid programming experience in object oriented and scripting languages such as C++, Java, Perl, Shellscript etc.
• Experience in SW development related testing, unit and function test.
Good to have:
• Advantage if you have skills in cross functional team work, preferably in Agile/Scrum teams
• Experience of multimedia, 3GPP IMS, VoIP or protocols like SIP, TCP/IP, Diameter, IPv6/v4, H.323, H248
• Experience of development in Linux environment.
Experience of SW revision handling systems like Clearcase.
