We are searching for a creative team player with an innovative mindset to join our team in Stenungsund, Sweden. We believe that you are passionate about research & development and want to make a difference. As a person you are seen as responsible, communicative with an ability to build relationships and you base your decisions on facts. For this role you will be involved in product development, project leadership and customer interactions to contribute to the success of the team. If you're up for the challenge and want to grow as a person, you 're our new scientist.
In your future role as Scientist you will
Initiate and develop innovative solutions to address customer needs and market trends
Lead projects from inception to commercialization
Contribute to excelling our scientific and application knowledge
Establish technical relationships with our customers
Build a network with other functions such as sales, marketing, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing to involve them in your projects and to support them when needed.
Communicate results with colleagues, higher management, at conferences and to customers both in written and oral form.
We believe you bring
MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Material Science, Surface Chemistry, or related field
Five years of experience in industrial product formulation preferably related to Agriculture applications
Proven problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset
Must enjoy hands-on laboratory bench work
Experience in project leadership and customer interaction is an advantage
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the technical and business networks

The Agriculture & Food R&D team is a group of scientists enthusiastic to deliver sustainable and innovative solutions to our customers through R&D projects with strategic business importance. This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to Peter Westbye, R&D Section Manager Agriculture & Food and based in Stenungsund.
