hela Sverige Our customer, a Swedish biotech company working with the next generation of biopharmaceuticals is now looking for a scientist with focus on cell biology and immunology.
The work will be focused on evaluation and analysis of protein molecules in the research pipeline and of pre-clinical and clinical samples.
The right candidate has hands-on experience from work with assay development, cell models and immunoassays
This is a consult assignment planned to start in January 2019 with the duration of 10 month. For the right candidate, there is a good chance for employment at the company.

About this role
You will be placed at our customer's site in Solna. Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include:
• Independently plan and execute research, analyze data and report results to meet specified timelines and objectives
• Develop and run functional cell based and ELISA assays
• Evaluation and analysis of protein molecules in the research pipeline
• Evaluation and analysis of pre-clinical and clinical study samples
• Supporting activities within cell biology and immunology
• In certain cases, coordinate activities at contract labs, concerning e.g. animal studies, technology transfer of methods, etc.
• Strive to increase the company 's knowledge within the field of cell biology/immunology
• Responsible and accountable for generated results and given timelines
• Responsible for documentation and reporting findings within given timelines
Qualifications
The right candidate has has more than five years of extensive hands-on experience from work with assay development, cell models, and immunoassays, preferably in an industrial setting.
Further qualifications:
• Extensive experience from independently planning and performing experiments and analyzing data from scientific research
• Industrial experience from development of biologics is an advantage
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines for immunoassays is a plus
• Experience from documentation in electronic lab books is a plus
• Ability to communicate, document and present results in English
To be successful in this role you have a solid theoretical background within the cell biology/immunology field, and ability to absorb new scientific ideas, to plan experiments and to draw conclusions form generated results and a genuine interest in practical laboratory work as well as reading scientific publications/regulatory guidelines and writing reports. You are driven, able to take initiative, results oriented and self-motivated. It is important that you have a thorough, orderly and details oriented way of working. Further you have a strong sense of personal accountability working independently as well as in teams. Good problem-solving skills, an analytical mind set, and strong communication/interaction skills.
