hela Sverige We have an open temporary position as Scientist in one of the applications sections at BioProcess R&D. The mission of the section is to support the department with expertise and technologies regarding downstream processing of antibodies and related molecules, to design affinity ligands, and also to develop and use analytical methods relevant to antibodies and key impurities.
This is a temporary assignment covering a paternity leave during 16/02/01-16/10/01.
Essential Responsibilities
The position is focused on advanced LC/MS method development and analysis of complex samples. Most work is performed as project work with several team members with different responsibilities and part of the time is also dedicated for support to other groups lacking this specific expertise.
The main task is to take responsibility for our LC/MS instruments as well as performing advanced analytical work utilizing this technique. This includes planning, performing, analyzing and reporting the studies. Reporting includes technical reports and presentations at internal and/or external meetings.
Qualifications/Requirements
MSc or BSc within biochemistry/biotechnology or similar
Knowledge and expertise in the LC/MS area at PhD level, both theoretical and practical knowledge
Experience from evaluation of complex data sets
English and Swedish as working languages
Excellent computer skills and ability to work in both general and internal systems
EU work permit
