On the behalf of our customer, Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (Sobi), we are looking for candidates with biopharmaceutical industrial experience and in particular experience from development of downstream processes and protein purification.
This is a consult assignment with start in August. The assignments are expected to last through out 2016 with chances of extension. Selections and interviews are held on an ongoing basis, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
Publiceringsdatum2016-06-10Dina arbetsuppgifterYou will work in the Downstream & Formulation Development (D&FD) section within Biopharmaceuticals R&D, a department of Sobis Biologics Development & Supply unit. Your focus will be downstream process development for production of biopharmaceutical proteins. Work is performed in crossfunctional teams in a highly collaborative, experienced and engaged environment.
Work tasks:
• Development of downstream processes for production of biopharmaceuticals for clinical development and commercial manufacturing.
• Project work: to plan, perform, evaluate and document experiments with project team.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
To fit the role you have a Ph.D. in biotechnology or related area, alternatively M.Sc. with significant relevant experience. Further we see that you fulfill following qualifications:
• Biopharmaceutical industrial experience.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge in bioseparation technologies used for isolation and purification of biopharmaceuticals.
• Knowledge of optimization and scaleup of downstream processes.
• Knowledge of filtration techniques.
• Experience of using ÄKTA chromatography systems.
• Experience of ÄKTA Cross flow system is a merit.
• Fluent in both oral and written English - fluent Swedish is a merit.
