Adecco Life Science in Gothenburg is now looking for a Senior Scientist (In Vitro) for a longer assignment within the global department Cell, Protein and Structural Sciences at AstraZeneca, Mölndal. Preferred start date 1 December.
Drug discovery research involves multidisciplinary teams working together with a common aim. Therefore excellent interpersonal skills, good organisational skills, motivation, proficiency in English and fluent Swedish is a must.
General duties would involve:
• Perform experiments and evaluate results, keep accurate records, present results,
• Comply with health and safety procedures,
• Work comfortably in teams, be capable of independent work, be proficient in the use of sensitive and sometimes complex equipment.
The successful candidate will have at least an MSc degree and more than 1 year of working experience in biological sciences. Specific skills and relevant for the job: Must have: Protein Science knowledge: Experience in protein purification. Large scale purification experience. Nice to have: Protein expression experience.
