• Work hands on in our laboratory together with scientists in the team.
• Conduct and set-up common analytical and bioanalytical methods as ELISAs, electrophoretic, enzyme activity and chromatographic methods etc. Molecular biology knowledge is considered to be an advantage.
• Be involved in the development of protein purification methods.
• Be responsible for the documentation of your experimental results.
• Support reporting of results in an adequate manner.
Background: Biochemist/Protein chemist/Analytical chemist or with equal competence
Education: MSc or BSc in the relevant field. Work experience from the Biotechnology field is an advantage.

Zymenex) is the Scandinavian R&D Affiliate of Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.a., Italy.
Zymenex mission as part of Chiesi is to discover and develop novel therapies to treat rare, serious, genetic diseases, for which there are few treatments available. In March 2018 Zymenex received marketing authorization approval by EMA for Velmanase alfa for treatment of the lysosomal storage disorder alpha-mannosidosis.
Zymenex is expanding in-house biologics development capabilities over the next years to support Chiesi growing portfolio of biological candidate drugs. The pipeline includes products developed from internal research (own design of product and processes) and also projects and product candidates of external origin.
Zymenex is located in Lidingö outside Stockholm and we are currently 10 fully employed scientists. This is a good opportunity to get familiar with the development of biologics and to work in a first class science and technology based organization.
Varaktighet, arbetstid
One year temporary position at Zymenex A/S, affiliate Sweden is offered. Employment period from 6th of August 2018 to 31st of July 2019
