hela Sverige We are looking for a Scientist with experience from protein purification and chromatography to strengthen our Format & Functionality team in the Resins department, Bioprocess R&D. You will belong to a team of 12 highly skilled engineers and scientists responsible for providing expertise in column packing and protein purification using chromatography in lab to process scale. The section is involved in research projects, new product development, product support and customer trainings.
We think you have a few years of experience from purification of monoclonal antibodies or recombinant proteins preferably in process scale.
This role includes project and line activities that will support both tech intake, R-projects, new product introductions, market support and sales support
Individually or as part of a team plan, perform, analyze, document and present laboratory investigations and technical evaluations and when needed act as activity leader or project manager
Develop, invent and improve new products and processes for the bioprocess industry, specifically within the fields of process development, optimization, intensification and connected manufacturing processes
Act as a mentor/local expert and support peers within the areas of bioprocess process development, optimization and analytics
Present scientific and technical results internally and externally, oral and written communication in Swedish and English
Identify, develop and maintain an external network
Propose new technologies, approve technology and technical solutions within bioprocess workflow

Qualifications/Requirements :
PhD in Biochemistry or relevant exam from higher education as well as significant relevant working experience from the Biotechnology or Biopharma industry
Good knowledge about purification of proteins using chromatography - preferably ÄKTA-systems
Structured and organized team player with good interpersonal skills
Flexible and good track record to deliver according to deadlines
Good skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written

Experience from process development of monoclonal antibody-purification
Experience from purification of viral vectors
