We have an opportunity for two individuals to join Drug Product Delivery (DPD) as Scientist with focus on pack, label and distribution of clinical trials.
The role holders will contribute to the DPD organization in the R&D Supply Chain by applying their technical expertise in the complex and regulated GMP environment. All activities will have a significant impact on the speed, quality and cost of the AZ development portfolio.

Arbetsuppgifter
Drug Product Delivery (DPD) in Gothenburg is the only site within AstraZeneca where we package and distribute investigational products to AZ clinical trials around the globe. We are a vital part of the PT&D,R&D Supply Chain organisation.
The role holders will contribute to the DPD organization in the R&D Supply Chain by applying their technical expertise in the complex and regulated GMP environment. All activities will have a significant impact on the speed, quality and cost of the AZ development portfolio.
Accountabilities/responsibilities:
• Perform and document all the operational work according to written procedures and GMPs with manual and/or automated systems/equipment.
• Engaged in the development and improvement of internal processes and manage deviations
• Write GMP and SHE procedures within own area and will be responsible for related training and compliance activities
• Responsible for maintaining defined facilities or equipment according to GMP standards
• Will have an understanding of the principles and concepts of Drug product delivery as well as how the team interacts with SC R&D, PT&D and AstraZeneca globally
• Using own functional knowledge to provide technical guidance
• Proactively contribute to projects/activities through applying specialist knowledge within appropriate areas;
o Equipment/facilities validation
o Quality network
o SHE network
o Lean network
And in addition in depth skill within at least two areas:
• Material Management internally and externally
• Packing and labelling including batch records
• Packing and labelling Set Up
• Internal label management
• Distribution internally and externally

Minimum Requirements - Education and Experience
• Likely to be graduate or an experienced non-graduate (> 7 years)
• Expertise in packaging, labelling and distribution of clinical supplies
• Understanding of GMP/GDP requirements as applied to clinical supply chain
• Demonstrated ability to work with teams in a culturally diverse, complex, changing environment
