hela Sverige On behalf of our client we are now looking for a highly motivated senior research scientist to work with screening & profiling within Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) in vitro. This is an assignment as a consultant starting as soon as possible for 6 months in Södertälje with very good prospects of prolongation.
Your main responsibilities will be to provide in vitro data and scientific advice on drug candidates to drug projects, i.e. you will perform in vitro assays such as metabolic stability in microsomes and hepatocytes, permeability assays with Caco2 and MDCK cell lines, CYP-inhibition, plasma protein binding and/or bio analysis with HPLC-MS or UPLC-MS.
Requirements:
B.Sc in analytical chemistry, biomedicine, cell biology or equivalent experience
Experience of HPLC-MS/UPLC-MS and in vitro assays such as mentioned above
Preclinical in vitro DMPK experience or of physical-chemical characterization of compounds within drug discovery
Ability to express yourself in English both orally and in written form
IT Software skills (Microsoft Office)
Additional qualifying skills:
Experience of automation techniques
Experience within ADME (absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion)
Experience/interest of virtual basic or other programming
Experience from industrial drug discovery
