We are now recruiting a cell and molecular biologist/biochemist for an assignment with one of our customers.
The main task will be project related lab work dedicated to provide the protein reagents required for project support. The work includes design and generation of expression constructs, cell culturing, protein purification and basic analysis of the purified protein using state of the art equipment and methods.
We are seeking candidates who have laboratory focus and are highly productive. The candidates need to be familiar with protein production, purification and analysis methods.
MSc or PhD with focus on biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology or equivalent.
Experience with standard molecular biology techniques, protein expression as well as profound knowledge in protein purification and characterisation are essential requirements. In addition, you are expected to have experience of cell culturing and basic protein analysis methods, e.g. determination of protein concentration, SDS-PAGE and Western-Blot.
Additional experience with assay development, analytical techniques and/or automatisation are a merit.
Candidates should posses good social skills and be strong team players. You should be able to work independently and take own initiatives. It is essential to have good organisational and commucication skills and you should be able to analyze and summarize your results and be comfortable in presenting your results.
