Presentation
We are now looking for senior research scientists specialised in assay development. The purpose of the job is to be lab-based, providing expertise in the competency of assay development, propose experimental strategies and to make a contribution to the practical delivery of projects in accordance with the safety requirements and in compliance with all responsibility policies that occur.
We are looking for a person that:
• has expertise in enzyme/protein-based assay design or expertise in cell-based assay design
• theoretical understanding of assay design relevant to the biochemical mechanism or pharmacology
• practical understanding of assay optimisation, including statistical tools such as factorial experiment design
• thorough understanding of enzyme/protein-based or cell-based assay technology platforms
• knowledge of detection technologies, including spectroscopic luminescent and label-free detection.
Publiceringsdatum2011-08-24Dina arbetsuppgifterThe work tasks includes working independently to contribute to the design and analysis of experimental procedures by incorporating the views of others. You'll have to interpret experimental data and play a significant role in the planning of further experiments. Further more you'll be an effective team member in supporting Discovery Projects to meet their objectives and you will contribute to the continuous improvement process by identifying opportunities i the workplace where improvements can be made.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We are looking for a person with a Ph.D in a relevant scientific discipline, or a BSc/MSc degree with relevant experience in drug discovery or early development.
