Adecco Life Science is one of our specialized Business Lines, which works exclusively with Staffing Services and Recruitment of personnel for the Life Science industry. Our customers are Pharmaceutical-, Biotech- and Medtech companies. We are now recruiting a Scentific Support Specialist Hardware to one of our customers in Uppsala. The assignment starts 5th of jan 2015 and will continue til 30th of aug 2015. The candidate will be employed by Adecco.
The role
This is a European role with preferred location in Uppsala,Sweden. In this role you will deliver scientific support for the products ÄKTA* and BIAcore* to key customers and drive an increase in customer satisfaction. The role will support the achievement of the regional and local annual sales and profit plans by the provision of advice, guidance and scientific support on all aspects of the Company's products to both customers and colleagues.
You will also:
• Respond to application related local and regional customer inquiries and feedback through the appropriate questioning techniques to identify the nature of the request/complaint.
• Advise the appropriate sales staff of the content of application related customer inquiries and feedback, and their outcome.
• Meet with agreed service levels, time scales and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
You should have at least a masters degree, preferably a phD, in relevant Life Science discipline for instance biochemistry or biotechnology, and at minimum 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate is a responsive person with strong listening skills, a hardworking and ambitious person. You should also be a communicative team player and be able to speak swedish and english fluently, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of other nordic/european language is of advantage.
