In this role you will deliver excellent scientific support for our Cell & Gene Therapy customers and other products to our key customers and drive an increase in customer satisfaction. You will support customers as they move from clinical studies to building the infrastructure to produce cell therapies on a commercial scale. Lab experience from cell and gene therapy application area is desired. The role will support the achievement of the regional and local annual sales and profit plans by giving advice, guidance and scientific support on all aspects of the company's products to both customers and colleagues. The role is an office-based role supporting all of EMEA but some travel may be required.
What you'll do
Respond to application related local and regional customer inquiries and feedback through the appropriate questioning techniques to identify the nature of the request/complaint.
Advise the appropriate sales staff of the content of application related customer inquiries and feedback, and their outcome.
Meet with agreed service levels, time scales and standard operating procedures.
Seek opportunities to convert application related inquiries into new or developed sales possibilities (e.g. lead generation, up-and cross-selling and initiating quotations).
Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and competence on specialist subjects, products and their applications.
Who you are
Education: Life Sciences degree within cell biology or related subject, preferably Phd or equivalent experience
Prior scientific and laboratory experience with solid demonstrable expertise in Cell and Gene Therapy product area
Excellent communication and team-work skills.
Fluent in English, minimum one additional European language (e.g. German, French).
Proficiency in PC computer skills and in Microsoft Office Suite products.
EU work permit.
Desired Characteristics
Experience in working in a cell therapy lab/GMP facility
On top of Cell therapy expertise it is an advantage to have prior scientific and laboratory experience in chromatography, columns, media and/or Biacore and SPR technology.
Experience in building and maintaining customer relationships.
