Scientific Sales and Marketing Representative
Nanoxis AB in Göteborg, Sweden, is looking for a sales and marketing representative for the Sales and Marketing department. The successful applicant will benefit from the opportunity to take lead in various projects, in a flexible environment at an expanding young biotech company.
The responsibilities for the position at Nanoxis include development of new business with large research institutes, pharmaceutical and biotech companies world wide, creating and upholding a loyal customer base and marketing Nanoxis' technology and products.
More specifically, this includes being present at international exhibitions and seminars, finding optimal lead generation methods, continuous customer contact and interaction, being part of the design of new marketing material, support customers with technical service, support distributors world wide, contribute to the ongoing research and development at Nanoxis by relating back customer feedback to the research and development team and represent the Nanoxis brand through expertise, reliability and professionalism.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Working knowledge of proteomics, preferably in applications such as 1D-gel analysis, mass spectrometry and membrane proteomics
• Documented experience in international sales within the Life Science industry, preferably in proteomics and mass spectrometry
• Preferred experience of international marketing
• Preferred experience of design of marketing material
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritise workload with attention to detail
• Comfortable communicating with senior executives as well as scientists
• Ability to argue from a business point of view as well as scientifically
• Team player with good cooperation skills
• Client focused approach to work
• Able to take initiative and work independently
• Fluent in written and spoken English
Education
M.Sc. degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry (analytic, physical) or similar.
