We are looking for a committed and positive school nurse who wants to work with our student health team at the English school in Halmstad!
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
The school nurse's mission is to create the best possible conditions for the student's health, development and learning, in collaboration with the students in the student health team. Together with the school physician, our other school nurse and in consultation with the school management, you are responsible for the organization of student health care in schools according to current advice and instructions. The work involves collaborating with students, parents, school staff, as well as organization and authorities outside the school. The service is a part-time service of 80%- 100% and you will work with grades 4-6.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a registered nurse with specialist nursing education in healthcare for children and adolescents. You must have completed the school nursing program or district nursing education. It is more desirable if you have further education in conversational methodology, psychosocial work or similar, as the service also largely includes psychosocial work. IES school nurses journal in PMO, therefore, you should be able to work in basic computer programs and have experience of data journals. As a person, you are flexible, positive and a real team player. At IES we help within the organization. Key features are also good judgment, accuracy and good teamwork.
In addition, the ability to be structured is required to be able to plan the activities in the short and long term. Previous experience as a school nurse is meritorious
