Internationella Engelska Skolan Sundbyberg will open in August 2018. At IES our ethos is the foundation of how we perform and we are proud to have schools in Sweden which offer students bilingualism, high academic expectations and a safe and orderly environment.
We follow the Swedish curriculum, teaching in both English and Swedish. Both staff and students come from all over the world bringing interesting knowledge, experience and possibilities into the school.
The main duties of the school administrator will include:
• Student intake
• Manage our web based communication program, SchoolSoft
• Handling general enquiries
• Coordinate with substitute teachers and cover lessons
• Office Management
The school will open in August 2018 and until this time there will be a skeleton staff. The successful applicant will need to be flexible and self-motivated in arranging all administration at this time (such as employee contracts, relocation support etc) that will not be part of the role after August. This is a fantastic opportunity to put your stamp on a brand new school.
We are looking for someone who is positive, service-minded, organized and capable of creating good contacts with students, parents and teachers. You need to have excellent skills in both English and Swedish.
