In the project, you will be a part of an exciting journey to set the base for final assembly in China and help us to develop a future plant with high level of quality and digitalization.
Your assignment
A project within P&L have been initiated to develop and implement this hub in China. One part of this project is the final assembly (TCM), which includes the chassis plant's building and equipment prepared to produce according to the technical capacity demanded by China market.
We know that success in this team depends on the people in it and we value different perspectives. The project team (TC) is growing rapidly with short ways to decision. We have many new project ongoing which creates many challenges and opportunities, we handle these I close cooperation within our team.
As Process Engineer your assignment includes several activities as:
• Develop the layout project considering the best ergonomic for the operator, rationalized process flow
• Specify each equipment / tooling using the best technology available, follow the equipment's tryout in the suppliers
• Prepare the mona structure, update the mona for all new introductions, S'orders and EFR's
• Follow the development of new architecture for SAP "NOVA" in China
Your profile
You have an University degree within engineering degree or similar as base and speak and write fluent English. We believe that you have a couple of years' experience as process engineer or project manager. You have preferably worked in Chassis Assembly and you are experienced in SPS.
You prefer to have several projects on the go and you do not only want to follow well-trodden paths; sometimes you prefer to go your own way. You are analytic, structured with a hands-on approach. We believe that good cooperation and communication skills is key to be successfull in international context together with cross functional teams. Your wiliness to continuously develop yourself will be an advantage.
Your location
The China project team (TC) is based in Södertalje. However, flexible work location may be applied to reflect competences needed and deliveries in the project. Business trips abroad and to China can be considered.
