Your new job
The "IT & Services" purchasing function is part of Scania's global purchasing organisation for indirect material, with purchasing responsibility for Scania's development and production units in Europe and South America in particular, but also for Scania's distributors and dealers.
As a purchaser, you will be responsible for a number of parallel project procurement processes. Your job will be to safeguard the commercial aspects of the projects and to ensure that the procurements comply with Scania's purchasing process. This includes price negotiation, framework agreements and supplier evaluation. During the procurements, you will work in a team with your internal customers from various business areas within Scania.
Your qualities and experience
We are looking for a person who has a strong commercial interest and who is passionate about doing business. You will have a strong commercial and results focus with a sound ability to develop and maintain a broad network of contacts both internally and externally.

You should have a few years' experience of purchasing work, preferably from an international environment. Experience of IT would also be an advantage. You should be proficient in written and spoken English. Knowledge of German would also be an advantage.
We expect you will have a degree in a technical subject, economics or law.
