As a Buyer at SATS Nordic you will be part of the Nordic service organization and report to the Group Purchasing Manager. You will be involved in purchasing projects with focus on cost reductions, supplier consolidation, order/call off procedures etc., both as a team member as well as in the role of a project manager.
You will in those tasks work closely with different department heads and other expert functions within SATS, both at a Nordic level as well as a country level, therefore it is important that you are open minded and communicative both verbally and in writing.
Distribution and logistics are vital parts of many purchasing projects at SATS, and we therefore value if you have experience from those areas, either by studies or from previous work.
Experiences within any of the purchasing categories marketing, retail or construction/development are also qualifying for the position.
Skills and experience
You have a University Degree, most likely within the area of finance, logistics or purchasing, and 2-3 years experience from work in a purchasing department in a medium to large sized company. We prefer if you previously have worked with indirect purchasing, and are used to work individually and maintain contact with several different internal stakeholders.
You are structured and communicative and have negotiation experience in your previous work. Communication will most often be in the Scandinavian languages but also in English, which also is the most common language for contracts. We therefore expect you to have good English skills, both verbally and in writing.
