What we are looking for
On behalf of a client we looking for a dedicated SAS Statistician with skills in statistical programming (SAS).
• Academic degree in statistics or similar on at least B.Sc. level, M.Sc is preferred
• Good knowledge of SAS/BASE, SAS/STAT and PL/SQL
• Expertise knowledge in database structure and terminology
• Competent in written and spoken English
• Good communication and management skills.
• At least three years experience of clinical studies as a statistician
• Comprehensive knowledge of statistical theory and methods and demonstrated ability to apply it to all phases of clinical trials.
• Competence in SAS programming including statistical analysis, data manipulation and scientific graphing.
• Experience with the concept of clinical studies.
Your role
You will be part of a clinical trials team were you will contribute by providing input to all sections of a study protocol. Drafting of statistical analysis plans is a part of your responsibility including defining appropriate methods for statistical analysis plan. Further on in the project you will write statistical reports and contribute to clinical as well as integrated reports. The job includes having contacts with end customers on questions related to statistical issues in projects. Throughout the projects you will review and contribute to SOPs with regard to statistics.
