As a Specialist Programmer in Early Clinical Biometrics, and you will play a key role in delivering our exciting early drug development portfolio within the Innovative Medicines Unit (IMED). Early Clinical Biometrics progresses compounds through early-stage (phase I-II) development, supporting both small molecules and biologics. The IMED is conducting trials in collaboration with many external research organizations.
Early Clinical Biometrics
Early Clinical Biometrics is totally focused on delivering innovation, science and seeking out opportunity. This small, dynamic group is looking to expand and we are looking for passionate, innovative individuals to help develop, lead and shape the way we work.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Support early phase (I-II) clinical projects in Programming activities
• Programming is the department that oversees and delivers the programming aspects of clinical
development, maintains the Analysis and Reporting production tools and the information
infrastructure.
• We manage and maintain the end to end standards
• We oversee quality and standards of study/project programming deliverables, including holding
partners and providers accountable for their contributions
• We thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and
working across functional/geographic boundaries
• We contribute to the development of best practice to improve quality, efficiency and
effectiveness
• Background is BSc (or local equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Life or Social
Sciences
• Extensive statistical programming or other relevant functional-area experience in a
Pharmaceutical environment, to an expert level
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• We have expert knowledge of CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM) and their application
• And comprehensive knowledge of GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and applicable
technical/regulatory requirements
Minimum requirements and key factors:
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a SAS Programmer
• Experience in working in Pharmaceutical Development
• BCs (or local equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Life or Social Sciences
• Ability to work independently
• Good communications skills
• It is a plus if candidates also have some experience in working with CDISC standards SDTM and ADAM.

Statistikkonsulterna is focusing on staff development through internal and external training and seminar and conference participations. Statistikkonsulterna has framework agreement with Volvo companies, CEVT, Scania, AstraZeneca, IKEA of Sweden, SCA, MHC TetraPak. Furthermore, we also perform research-related projects for universities, hospitals etc.
Statistikkonsulterna is SAS Silver Partner and an active member of Swedish Statistical Association and ESOMAR SFK.
Statistikkonsulterna has access to and experience in SAS / Base, SAS / Enterprise Guide, SPSS, R, and Minitab. Furthermore, we have expertise in programming and SQL.
