Technology is a new function within Group Digital & IT with a big stake in the Group's digital transformation. We will modernize Volvo's core digital backbone making it a platform for digital products. Our Foundational IT products are used by digital product teams and enable them and their products to outperform Volvo's competitors. Our digital talents develop capabilities and digital technologies to improve business performance and create value for the Group with speed and at scale.
We collaborate with other parts of the organization, both in Group Digital & IT and Group Functions. We foster an environment where ideas, thoughts and opinions can be shared. We are team players with clear common ambitions, and we win together!
We are now looking for an SAP Technology Consultant within the area Finance Core Systems

In this position, you will:
Play the role of an ABAP Developer with good technical, communication skills
Work with teams across organizations and geographies to design, develop & enhance state of the art software applications in ECC/S/4HANA cloud and on premise
Be able to work on complex functional requirements
Author and review design and technical documentation
Perform development tasks in a self-reliant way, in-time, and in-quality
Participate in technological watch activities on SAP new solutions & technologies - S/4HANA and other cloud offerings in your domain
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience as SAP ABAP developer, with proven experience in SAP projects and SAP support roles
Experience in Reports - Classical, Interactive, ALV and Extraction programs
Experience in Interfaces: ALE/IDOC, RFC, Proxies and in Conversions: BDC, BAPI, LSMW
Experience in Enhancements: User exits, Customer exists, Screen exits, BADI and (Enhancement points will be an advantage)
Experience in Forms: Smart forms
Experience in Front-end technologies - SAP FIORI, SAP UI5 is a plus
Exposure to agile development methodologies
Good documentation, presentation, and communication skills
Should be autonomous, Self-confident, customer and users oriented and interest for business and functional topics
Eager to learn, to understand and to invest on a complex solution
Fluent in English and Swedish
Good to have:
Experience in Solution Manager, Service Now
Exposure to DevOps is a plus
Hands-On experience from S/4 HANA
