The SAP Architecture team is looking for an SAP Architect to work in Göteborg (Sweden) to manage our current SAP landscapes as well as help us to transform them in order stay updated.
The SAP Architecture team consist of 10 SAP Architects based in Sweden, France, India and Poland, so you will be part of an experienced team in an international and multicultural environment.
Within Volvo Group, we operate more than 40 different productive SAP on-premises systems, several SAP cloud solutions and innovative solutions like CPI/SIS, IAG, SAP DI, workload on Azure etc. More than 400 employees and contractors work in the SAP area and 75.000 employees use the systems.
Your role would be to support our upcoming challenge - the move towards the new SAP solutions like S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP SaaS solutions on Cloud. You will work within the SAP Center of Expertise (CoE) which is part of Volvo Group IT & Digital. The SAP CoE manages IT activities and drive change initiatives in the SAP area for Volvo Group. Our SAP Architects take part in global assignments in Volvo Group and also create value through internal SAP innovation initiatives, tech watch and creation of frameworks and guides for change projects.
Your responsibilities:
• You will work in change projects as Solution Architect, where you will be responsible for the overall design of SAP applications using SAP best practices and the Volvo Group target architecture (North Star)
• You work in project teams and map business needs to SAP solution and handle gaps
• You will actively contribute in pre-studies on and present findings to the global SAP communities
• You will be part of a team that proposes and drive tech watch activities on SAP new solutions & technologies
• You will create SAP implementation standards and frameworks for Volvo
• You will participate in reviews of architecture concepts and solutions within the SAP community
Who are you?
• Graduated with a master's degree in IT with at least 5 years of experience as an SAP Architect
• Good knowledge in SAP BI and Analytics tools (SAP BW, SAC, SAP BO, SAP DI...)
• Experienced in S/4HANA project (Brown field or green field)
• Good understanding of architecture principles and methods. You can define and manage solution design for SAP solutions.
• Understanding and experience in Cybersecurity concepts and standards
• Knowledge/experience working in an agile environment.
• You must speak English fluently.
