Are you a Software Engineer with a passion for financial applications and SAP? Join us and help the H&M Group to do business in a meaningful way, by providing, easy, efficient and sustainable digital solutions.
H&M Group is growing and now looking for SAP Software Engineer with accounting expertise to the Finance and Corporate Support function within the Business Tech organization. As a SAP Software Engineer, you will be part of the Finance Area within H&M Group Business Tech. This area is responsible for the financial application within the H&M Group. The product team Financial Reporting and Audit is responsible for the IT solutions providing financial data to legal authorities in the countries where we operate. The solutions in scope include among others, SAF-T reporting, Intrastat, E-invoicing (providing invoicing data to legal authorities via SAP e-document or local 3rd party providers). The team currently consists of an amazing mix of Business Experts, and Software Engineers with expertise in SAP Fico and development (ABAP) and integrations.

Responsibilities
As SAP Software Engineer, you will work with a global solution which is constantly evolving as new legal requirements are being implemented. The job gives a lot of opportunities to learn and develop, as well as take part in different exciting initiatives. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing end-to-end application, which includes initiatives, analyzing, designing, creating functional requirements, doing configurations as well as test and deploy in the global SAP solution. With your system and business knowledge, you will enable development by proposing, designing and implementing changes that will move the Finance Area forward. You will also:
Design, develop and support the systems solutions in the product
Translate strategies and requirements into modern and scalable solution designs
Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative designs
Collaborate with other product teams (local and distributed) to help and provide the best end-user experience
Seek opportunities to automate, document and improve processes.
Who you are
We believe you have the ability to apply leading software development practices and present alternative solutions and technical choices. To do this, we think you have a curious mindset, excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. You have the ability to collaborate and co-create across products, and you are able to analyze complex information. You like having responsibilities and you work proactively, improving activities in complex environments. Furthermore, we believe you:
Have a solid experience (+9 years) in SAP Accounting and Controlling areas regarding design, concepts, principles, and configurations
Experience of SAP ECC Finance functionality like Intrastat reporting, VAT set up, SAF-T reporting, e-invoicing
Can explain deep subject matter situations relating to finance, accounting, and SAP to all stakeholders within H&M Group. You are a team player and excellent communicator
Have experience from SAP system configuration, design, build, test and support - all activities in the application lifecycle
Have an understanding of Financial processes in a large company
Have experience from SAP transportation management tools such as STMS, Solution Manager, ActiveControl
Have experience of developing WRICEF objects (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Enhancement and Forms)
Have experience from Agile way of working (SAFE or similar)
It is also beneficial if you have:
Experience in SAP Finance S/4HANA
Experience from Retail industry - especially SAP FI-CA
Experience from SAP e-Documents
