About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP CPI Lead Software Engineer to lead integration initiatives and ensure the seamless, secure connection of SAP and other internal/external systems. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement integrations using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
Lead and supervise the ABAP & CPI development team, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate closely with solution architects and application engineers on integration strategy and design.
Develop reusable iFlows and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Build inbound and outbound interfaces between cloud, on-premises, and cloud SAP instances.
Mentor junior developers, review code, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
Configure and extend standard iFlows, define custom iFlows, manage local and exception sub-processes, and implement robust exception handling.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing SAP CPI integration flows.
Proficient in XML, XSLT, Groovy, OData, REST.
Strong knowledge of security, error handling, and monitoring in CPI.
Experience handling high-volume transactions in SAP Cloud Commerce and delivering innovative integration solutions.
Skilled in SAP CPI adapters, including SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST, API.
Hands-on experience with value mapping, Groovy scripting, and their application within iFlows.
Experience in production support and operational projects, including incident management processes.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
