Mölnlycke is now looking for a SAP Architect Specialist within the Global IT organisation to be stationed at HQ in Gothenburg.
About the job
Our ERP system is a vital component in the Mölnlycke IT landscape. It supports our global logistics, manufacturing and finance processes in the Gothenburg head quarter as well as our marketing companies and our manufacturing sites. We are currently operating SAP ECC but have initiated a transformation program to move us to SAP S/4 HANA.
We want to strengthen our expertise around our ERP platform and are looking for a SAP specialist with an architecture focus. This role will take ownership of the global design of our ERP platform and govern its architecture roadmap to enable Mölnlycke's ambitious digital agenda.
As a SAP Architect Specialist you will work together with other architects and delivery teams across Mölnlycke IT securing that the technical design of the platform meets our short term and long term business requirements while also being aligned with our business & IT strategies. You will play an instrumental role in our initiative to move to the new SAP S/4 HANA platform.
Your role and your responsibilities
Secure and safeguard the integrity of the SAP solution architecture in line with domain and enterprise architectures.
Understand our current & future needs relevant for shaping the SAP solution architecture.
Understand the roadmap and application lifecycle model of SAP solutions in use at Mölnlycke to anticipate the business and technical impact of these changes to allow required actions are promptly and timely executed.
Understand the current and emerging portfolio of SAP solutions including applicable license models to spot opportunities and drive capitalization on the SAP investment
Collaborate with the delivery team members to deliver on specific SAP commitments.
Develop & manage architectural artifacts for applications & platforms within SAP scope.
Ensure enterprise-wide architectural adherence through participation in the architecture review process.
Actively contribute to & collaborate on overall domain and enterprise Architecture.
Drive and follow up key decisions regarding SAP architecture and design to provide a platform that is flexible, re-usable and in sync with changing business needs.
Promote best practice on SAP architecture to secure robust solutions.
Develop and maintain SAP expertise and best practice in relevant area including business processes, technologies, applications and relevant data.
What you'll need...
You have comprehensive knowledge and experience of the SAP ERP platform, its components and the underlying technology. This includes our current SAP ECC platform as well as SAP S/4HANA.
You need to have experience of solution architecture translating requirements into viable future proof solutions. You possess essential knowledge of all architecture domain and associated methodologies i.e. business architecture, information architecture, application architecture and infrastructure architecture.
You need to be comfortable working with various stakeholders and delivery teams, possessing good communication, visualisation and collaboration skills in addition to being a solid team player.
You are curious and interested in new approaches but at the same time you are delivery focused.
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology.
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience; Minimum of 4 years working with SAP IT architecture.
Experience from agile development and DevOps methods including understanding of end-to-end Software Delivery Lifecycle processes.
System thinking with comprehensive knowledge of the SAP ERP platforms & associated technologies including documented experience of enterprise software and API oriented architecture.
Documented experience from applying digital technology creating business effect.
Demonstrated business acumen and relevant experience of business, customers and/or functional area.
Ability to gain understanding of customers' business processes and unmet needs, while also managing expectations and scope.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills & relations with ability to work effectively with stakeholders in complex organizations.
