This position is located at AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals AB in Bohus, and will be appointed as soon as possible.
Key Accountabilities / Role description
• In Co-operation with Global Finance Functional Solution Architect to deliver the SAP FICO landscape design changes(such as: new functionality implementation ), roadmap, template.
• In Co-operation with demand-management, responsible for activities within the SAP FICO area necessary to align and integrate applications with business processes and needs.
• Co-responsible with Application Analyst for activities in the SAP FICO area, necessary to ensure that the FICO function and operate appropriately, according to the defined technical and functional specifications.
• Taking lead the enhancement of finance area with SAP FICO Business Process Owner & power/key users(Accounting center key users, regional business controllers/plant controllers). Translation of demands and requests with respect to new functionality and processes into SAP FICO solution.
• Aligning business processes and finance applications.
• Analyze and fulfill information needs of business.
• Contact with business on the regular basis, deliver the key user, power development(such as deliver SAP FICO training to business KU/PU network for Asia region).
• Realize the project with PMO for solution design and blueprints.
• Maintains knowledge and follows developments in the business related processes to be able to fulfill an innovative role.
• Finance business partner for region to meet business expectation and delight customer by valuable added support.
Key Activities
• Participating and/or leading implementation, enhancement and optimization projects.
• Coordinating activates of third party consultants(project related)
• Creating the designs for new and enhanced solutions
• Deliver the FICO training to key/power users. Organize the key/power user meeting on the monthly basis.
• Discusses options to resolve system disruptions in meetings between the Application Analyst and other Application Manager functionaries
• Translation of key business process in operational applications
• Initiating research and projects to improve the use of applications to support the business processes.
• Drives the process of Request for Change and co-judges the request.
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in information management or related discipline.
• Minimum >6 years relevant work experience in finance business or SAP FICO functions in international companies.
• Overall knowledge of IM/IT in general, next to well-developed knowledge of business processes
• Consulting skills - ability to grasp the issue and situation, and recommend and implement a solution; to translate concepts into executable tasks.
• Strong FICO application know-how. SAP FICO change request/enhancement support experience , as well as project management experience.
• Good understanding of business process and reporting such as: production costing, COPA, AP/AR/GL, fixed assets, and project system). Business/plant Controller background is preferred.
• Good knowledge of integration between accounting/controlling with production, purchasing, sales & distribution and plant maintenance.
• Strong SAP VIM invoice management skills.
• Qualified English language skill in both written and spoken.
