Experienced Sales Specialist ? SAFC
SAFC is dedicated to providing raw materials, and manufacturing services for customers developing and manufacturing biotherapeutics,
pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and other products. More than just a raw material supplier, SAFC provides customized solutions
that improve productivity, shorten the time to market, and minimize risk.
SAFC is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for a field based SAFC Sales Specialists position. The target accounts for
this position are located in all four Nordic countries, the applicant is required to live in the Stockholm area.
The SAFC Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving sales growth targets, profit margins, forecast and revenue goals in the assigned
territory. The SAFC Sales Specialist works in conjunction with other corporate resources to achieve all strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate has experience in selling raw materials and services for pharma-and biopharmaceutical development processes and manufacturing applications, as well as customized raw materials for the diagnostic and pharmaceutical industries.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meets sales growth and profit margin goals by winning new opportunities while retaining existing business
Focusing on designated target accounts, profiles their pipeline, identifies new opportunities, aligns our capabilities to their needs, and develops relationships with key decision makers to gain long term strategic market share
Understands each customer?s specific requirements in order to provide a customized solution that meets their needs: product development and customization, analytical testing, packaging, compliance, supply chain
Negotiates and implements contracts and long term supply commitments
Travels up to 50% of time to gain and maintain first hand knowledge of account activities and needs, and develops business relationships
to ensure business retention and acquisition.
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS in life science field (or equivalent) required, MBA desired
Knowledge of product development steps and raw material supply for life science industry
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or related positions in life science industry
In depth knowledge of market needs and competition, and highly skilled in strategic selling and negotiation
Highly motivated, goal and teamwork oriented with excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills
Strong communication skills: verbal, written, presentations
