We want to offer our customers personalized journeys driven by important life events. You will have a key role in making this happen.
About the role
As a Salesforce Developer you will enable the seamless transition of data in the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud platform and help transform it to personalized journeys in the Marketing Cloud. As we have just started our Salesforce journey you will not just be a developer but an evangelist on the platform supporting both marketeers, architects and engineers to make journeys happen.
You'll develop data integrations on the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Marketing Cloud to and from our CRM and first party data sources. This includes configuration, integration and customization of data objects and fields on the platform. Together with the team you will also support marketeers with Data Extensions and filters (SQL) for use in Customer Journeys in the Marketing Cloud. You will develop DevOps practices on the Salesforce platform to proactively detect, troubleshoot and fix data and integration problems as well as automate processes to support customer journeys. You will help us understand and communicate changes and potential implications of Salesforce releases.

Who are you?
You're passionate about Salesforce platform development and have a strong understanding of best practices, functionality and technical capabilities such as custom objects, validation rules, workflows, reporting, dashboards, assignment rules and formula fields.
You share the love with your team of serving customers and marketeers with the solutions you develop on the Salesforce core platform (Sales and Service or Financial Service Cloud). You've worked with native and custom data objects and integrated data to the platform. You have a proven experience creating Apex classes and triggers and can effortlessly handle reliable messaging and API integrations.
You have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and preferably experience with the Development IDEs such as Salesforce extensions for Visual Studio Code. You love SQL and working with databases on a daily basis.
You also have
Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or Software engineering
Excellent English language and communication skills (oral and written)
Previous experience with application and software development
Work Permit for the European Union
Salesforce Platform Developer II certification or equivalent experience
