Seven years have passed and we have grown to an ambitious and creative company of 700 employees. We have been awarded Company of the Year in -07 (bragging), increased our turnover by 13 570 % (statistics) and managed to become the Nordic market leader (facts). Klarna is partly owned by Sequoia Capital, DST Global and General Atlantic - companies that have seen the same potential in Google, Facebook and Twitter as they do in us. We think that is a good start.
Klarna is on track to become a new force in payments worldwide and we're always looking for talented people that can grow together with Klarna. We are currently operating in six markets in Europe and are constantly expanding to new countries. Today we are 180 engineers, with over 20 nationalities.
As a developer you will have a great opportunity to develop your skills in Java/Apex and Salesforce, as well as other skills you need in a fast moving, cutting-edge tech company. Since we are growing exponentially our demands on our cloud based platform, Force.com, increases as well. You are a key player in the development of this platform and will create solutions to hundreds of fellow colleagues throughout Klarna. The team?s goal is to increase the efficiency and streamline processes through the use of Salesforce and other new tools. You will grow together with the tools you create.
Qualifications
• Msc Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience of software development
• Excellent knowledge in Java/Apex
• General interest in coding and ability to pick up new languages
• Experience from other cloud applications or SaaS systems is a plus
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
As a Developer, we expect you to be able to handle and maintain systems with high demands on usability, performance and scalability. You are business oriented and you are required to be able to speak and write fluently in English.
