Sales Specialist - ABB Motion
Your role: Own the Challenge
Are you our new Sales Specialist with the sales hunt mentality in your core? Are you passionate about driving business growth and building lasting customer relationships? At ABB, we're looking for a Sales Specialist to take the lead in developing and expanding our highly successful Motion business in Sweden. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to build a rewarding career within a dynamic committed to growth and innovation. In this role, you'll be an essential part of an experienced and collaborative sales team, focused on delivering innovative solutions to our customers together with our factories in Europe and around the world.
As a Sales Specialist, you'll create and implement a strategic sales plan aimed at driving growth through both new and existing OEM customers. You'll take full ownership of your targets, continuously analyze market trends, and identify proactive actions to ensure success. By understanding your customers' unique needs and challenges, you'll work closely with experts across the sales organization to provide tailored product and solution proposals.
Key responsibilities
Be an integral part of the sales hunt activities to secure new OEM customers.
Take lead in winning and developing a specific large key OEM player on the Swedish market.
Developing and executing a sales plan to grow the business with OEM customers.
Analyzing market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers, acting as an ambassador for ABB's full product portfolio.
Collaborating closely with the broader sales team, sharing opportunities and ensuring a seamless flow of information.
What it takes to Run what runs the world
Proactive, self-motivated and with excellent skill in working in a structured manner. Fluent in Swedish and English (both written and verbal).
Results-oriented with experience in managing long sales cycles and driving complex sales, especially with OEM channel sales.
A university degree in engineering (e.g. electrical/mechanical) is meritorious as well as relevant experience in technical complex sales, project management or automation, with a strong understanding of motors, drives, and PLCs.
Positive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to solve problems in a structured and collaborative manner, and proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships at all levels.
Genuine interest in technology and a willingness to learn, with a Driver's License (B) required for customer visits.
