Group Expansion

We take the lead for business development of existing and new customer meeting points. We act on business needs and empower the markets to maximise accessibility, implement our retailing concepts and fully utilise our assets in the new world of IKEA - all at lowest cost, with economy of scale and sustained profitability.

ABOUT YOU
As a person you are motivated to exceed customer expectations and to drive business growth by creating a seamless shopping experience for the many people. You are eager to create the future IKEA and curious about city life and the many people living there. You get motivated by finding new ways through co-creation with colleagues and other IKEA units and are inspired by working together in an ever-changing multi-dimensional environment.

We believe you have a minimum 5 years of experience of developing businesses and delivering results within Sales in a Customer Meeting Point (CMP) and a minimum 2 years of experience in leading and influencing teams. You also have proven advanced training in Sales, Marketing, Business management or equivalent and experience from implementation of Retail Establishment Process and sales in a multichannel customer journey.

You have knowledge in following areas:

• the Retail Establishment Process
• all products and service types that IKEA offers and sells to customers
• how to steer the customer to the right products or service for their needs across channels
• display/racking and merchandising techniques
• IKEA concept, brand objectives, values and vision
• Ingka Group strategies, priorities and strategic expansion planning process
• how to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders in IKEA
• the IKEA multichannel shopping experience

You bring good leadership skills and you communicate verbally and visually in an inspirational way in the IKEA tone of voice. You have the ability to prioritise and make decisions with speed and simplicity, a creative mind-set that encourages creative ideas and perspectives that add value. You also have an ability to take a holistic view of a global organisation and identify business opportunities. You of course share and live the IKEA culture and values.

ABOUT THE JOB
In the role as Sales Solution Leader you will maximize growth and optimizing profitability in retail spaces and home furnishing solutions for new customer meeting points and major rebuilds based on our most recent home furnishing and merchandising solutions.

You will:
• Responsible for maximizing growth and optimizing profitability, by ensuring a seamless and easy buying process in new CMPs, within the one market approach
• support the Leaders and Specialist team in the Central Planning Hub, contributing to CMPs that present the range in a vital, inspiring way fitting the needs of the many and that enable access to the whole range in a multichannel retail world of IKEA
• ensure CMPs, that present the range in a vital, inspiring way fitting the needs of the many and that enable access to the whole range in a multichannel retail world of IKEA
• support the Central Planning Hub leaders and specialist team with strategic guidance, ways of working and tools in sales steering, planning and activation
• ensure the development of inspiring solutions that reflect a wide variety of styles and price levels and life at home activities with seasonal relevance connected to the commercial activities
• support the Expansion Planning Hub leaders and specialists in the use of global tools, proven solutions, best practices within sales and conversion and when needed, adjust the global solutions to be locally relevant
• design retail spaces and solutions to become visually attractive and drive sales, based on the customer journeys of the new CMP
• be responsible for delivering a large portfolio of projects within expected quality, time and budget, by designing retail solutions in collaboration with the markets and Inter IKEA Systems
• be at the forefront of new solutions and new technology in order to optimise customer experience and efficiency of CMPs
• take lead in working across functions within Ingka Group and collaborate with other IKEA units
• take lead in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values
• lead positive change, and contribute to building a more unique, inclusive and accessible IKEA - guided by the People and Planet Positive commitments

In this role you will report to the Retail Solutions Planning Manager.
This role is located in Malmö.
