We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team at Volvo Energy as Sales Project Manager for Battery Energy Storage Systems.

This is us - Direct Sales

Direct Sales is a function within Volvo Energy Sales Services & Engineering Support. We are responsible for the sales of the upcoming Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) range, including second-life products and focusing on applications in temporary power, charging and behind-the-meter energy optimization. We are now ramping up to meet a growing customer demand and to be able to capture more opportunities in the flourishing BESS market.

What are we looking for in this specific role?

We are looking for someone customer centric with a great interest in new energy solutions. In this role you will contribute to the growth of our BESS business by leading initial sales projects and building an exceptional customer experience You will work in close cooperation with a wide range of customers, external stakeholders as well as Volvo Group colleagues.

Responsibilities will include among others:
Manage projects and relationships with BESS customers, from leads through to final commissioning.
Support continuous improvement in the sales team by continuously bringing customer and market feedback into internal process and product development activities.
Represent the Direct Sales team in Volvo Energy business development projects.
Represent the Direct Sales team in relevant events/networks.

Qualifications likely required to be successful
University degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, industrial engineering, computer science or equivalent.
Previous experience from energy industry.
Proven project management and/or business development experience.
Ability to work as part of a global team, with multiple stakeholders and on multiple projects/tasks at a time.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build credibility and maintain effective customer relationships.
Previous experience within Battery Energy Storage Systems is an advantage.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
