Career opportunity in the world of dynamic glass

We are looking for a Sales & product support to optimize our customer projects. The position is a key role within the company, reporting to the Head of Sales and is responsible for ensuring top quality delivery precision to our customers.

ChromoGenics is a global leader in developing and producing dynamic glass with controllable optical properties. Our unique proprietary electrochromic technology, ConverLight?, provides dynamic solar protection for increased indoor comfort and energy efficiency.

ChromoGenics is located in Uppsala, Sweden. The current 3000 m² production facility includes climate-stabilized cleanroom facilities, production lines for ConverLight glass laminates, testing facilities and a center for high-tech smart materials.

ChromoGenics was founded in 2003, building on more than 20 years of research on electrochromic materials at the Ångström Laboratory at Uppsala University. The company has more than 20 employees and the main investors are K-Svets Venture AB, New Energy Solutions II K/S and Volvo Group Venture Capital AB. The plant has been partly financed by a conditional loan from the Swedish Energy Agency.

Job Description

The core role will be to support the sales organization with product- and project information as well as technical assistance with the aim of accelerating time-to-market and securing customer satisfaction.

Tasks and responsibilities include, amongst others:

Monitor and assure delivery precision to customer site, including follow up
Establish routines for follow up offers/tenders with sales organization and customers
Assist with technical support and counseling to sales organization and customers
Initiate, plan and execute as a project manager for won customer projects
Create offers/tenders in cooperation with sales organization
Handle order reception and registrations
Log data and register customer contacts and project information
Responsible for complaint handling towards customers or Assist sales organization in customer handling
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to establish both trust and drive in productivity improvements
Represent the company at trade shows, seminars and customer activities

Job Requirements

5-7 years of experience in the construction industry
Capable of multi-tasking and establishing strong working relationships in cross-functional teams
Fluent in English and Swedish
High school diploma with technical orientation
If your education has electro-technical background it is seen as a plus
Any additional sales training (e.g. IHM) will be seen as a plus
The position requires travelling
