The Position
Avalanche Studios Group are looking for a Sales & Partnerships Manager to join the Expansive Worlds division. The Sales & Partnership Manager is responsible for our overall distribution, delivering robust client management and associated strategic business plans to drive Expansive Worlds growth across territories, channels and consumer segments. In the role you act as our divisions focal point with partners and are responsible for negotiation, execution and optimization of our sales through current and future partner accounts, guided by utilization of data insights and analytics. Hence, the Sales & Partnership Manager hold a data aware mindset to develop accounts and control their performance.

Key deliverable for the role is to meet & exceed our planned revenue and customer profitability targets, developing partner accounts in line with strategies through structured partner business plans and associated execution against them.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Discipline
Responsible for meeting set sales targets; on an aggregate level and on partner level
Accountable for sales in new business and non-traditional business models
Accountable for new account / platform management
Owner of all distribution partner negotiations, working in tandem with Product Owners

Strategic Planning
Accountable for creation and implementation of strategic partner level business & development plans and associated set targets
Set promotional schedule & plans by partner; encompass pricing, campaigns, policies, marketing initiatives and incentive plans
Management of and accountable for trade term negotiations with partners
Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on Partner level in the areas of player:
o Acquisition
o Retention
o LifeTimeValue
o Monetization
o Conversions
Greenlight Process:
o Support long-term Sales & Marketing Plan with aligned strategic partner plans
o Development life-cycle: Outline of partner plans in line with set strategic partner plans
o LiveOps life-cycle: Set & execution to partner plans
Support Group and Division 'Key Objectives' through partner plans and activities
Assure indepth understanding of consumer and customer behaviours

Live Operations
Focal point for all distribution partner operations
Accountable for optimized alignment and execution of product roadmap with partner plans
Accountable for execution against partner level business plans:
o Revenue & profitability
o Risk & opportunities management - vs. Budget / Forecast / Targets
o Execution on set partner business plans; review and validating targets by partner
o Review set KPIs and metrics of partner specific promotions and conduct postmortems; sales, demographics, geography
o Management of co-op budgets & related ROI
o Coordination of misc. activities
Accountable for negotiate promotions and store exposure for our games.
Support pro-forma P&Ls of releases, promotions, sales activations and associated
post-mortems
Liaise with the Product Owner to ensure sign-off and support for tailored sales & marketing activities and account exclusive offers
Attend customer events
Coordinate with the marketing team on asset requirements
Analyze and report on results to key stakeholders
Owner of the store pages of assigned games
Monitor monthly performance and recommend action as appropriate to improve sales, margins and share of partners business

Financial Discipline
Understand internal financial P&L on account level to secure maximized profit
Understand customer financial objectives (KPIs)

Communication
Active dialog together with Expansive Worlds Product Owners
Collaborate with peers within Avalanche Studios Group Sales Team and Product
Owners outside Expansive Worlds to leverage synergies and bargain powers

Relationships
Close collaboration with Expansive Worlds Management team
Work in tandem with virtual insights team for data assessment
Partner with Product Owners and Head of Marketing to optimize product roadmap and alignment with promotional schedule
Coordination between release management and partners

Team Management
Demonstrate and promote company culture, mission and brand trajectory
Contribute to the career & growth alignment activities for the craft

Experience & Skills
Typically > 5 years experience in strategic client management
Typically > 3 years experience in digital entertainment & distribution in a international business environment
Strong experience with B2B sales of consumer goods
Experience with digital distribution
Comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders
Strong negotiator
Bias for action/initiative (pro-activeness)
Self-sufficient & personal drive for process improvement and innovation
Co-operate and collaborate in team spirit - act without personal prestige
Ability to prioritize and work structured, targeted and focused
Excellent analytical, structured and numerical skills
Good communications and presentation style
Strong capability for planning & analysis allied to the vision
Language skills;
Swedish - good
English - fluent
Comfortable travelling as required
