The supply chain is a key enabler of Axis growth, and as we grow it is vital for us to develop our supply chain to support our growth ambitions and opportunities. We are now looking for a Sales & Operations Planner, with an interest in IT-systems, who will retrieve and present the best forecasting data possible to enable Operations to perform at our best.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
In the position as Sales & Operations Planner you will work in the Demand planning team and closely with Supply, Sales, Product Management and Finance. You will have a strong ability in achieving results across organizational borders, in order to present the best forecasting data possible. The positions many interfaces will provide an excellent opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Axis business as well as building a broad network. Therefore, strong social skills are crucial to function well in the position as Sales & Operations Planner.
Duties will include:
Producing an Axis corporate demand forecast on a regular basis
System-aided forecasting and planning
Developing market knowledge and tracking trends, through communication and data analysis
Tracking product portfolio changes and Axis customer project pipeline
Development of the forecasting process and forecasting tools to improve the demand planning process in the supply chain
Follow-up forecast accuracy, and take actions to improve it
Align the forecast process with the sales budget process owned by Finance
Investigate how the forecast affect other parts of the supply chain to eliminate sub-optimization
You are going to use your interest and experience of systems such as Excel, Qlik and an ERP (preferably IFS) to further optimize our forecast. We see you as the future driving force of building up our way of working with our systems in a more efficient way. We are working with digitalization and see you as key person for implementing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for future forecasting.
You will report to the Demand Planning Manager.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that you are a person with a strong personal drive who easily co-operates across organizational borders. Your analytical ability is sharp and you pay good attention to details. You are always open and willing to learn.
We believe that you have:
A Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Business and Economics
2 years' experience from supply chain disciplines in an international environment
A strong interest in data analysis
A strong personal drive and the ability to maintain good contacts with several parties simultaneously
You have a big interest and experience of working with systems to make forecasts
You see the use of optimizing the forecasts with the help of IT-systems. If you want to develop your knowledge in this area this is the perfect position for you!
Furthermore, you are fluent in both English and Swedish.
