This employment offers a unique opportunity to establish sales channels in an entirely new industry with very interesting dynamics. As a Sales and Marketing Manager you will be given full responsibility and autonomy in planning and running our Sales and Marketing activities. As we are a small team with a disruptive product, you will be given a unique opportunity to shape the future of competitive sports.
Responsibilities:
• Brand and Marketing strategy development and implementation.
• Advertising - Lead development of creative content with creative partners. Plan and purchase online and physical advertising. Analyze result data and return on investment.
• Customer relationship management - Define and execute strategy for how to maximize customer base satisfaction and sales, e.g. through newsletters, competitions, affiliates etc.
• Strategic partnerships - Identify and initiate strategic partnerships with e.g. media companies, national sport associations, sport agent firms, financial industry actors, sport travel agencies, sponsors etc.
• Client management and sales - identify and contract new athletes and clubs to be funded by Trade in Sports' customers
• Event marketing - run activities and presentations on sport and financial industry events.
• PR - Act as spokesperson for Trade in Sports in media. Engage industry journalists through packaging and distribution of Trade in Sports related news, surveys etc.
• Market research - plan, execute and evaluate market studies, i.e. identify customer characteristics and behavior etc.
You are passionate about sales, marketing and communication and are willing to work hard. You are a proven self-starter that can manage a project from start to end, be it a marketing campaign or to establish and maintain a relationship with a national sports association. You are motivated by the opportunity to grow (and eventually become a co-owner through our stock program) a truly disruptive company in a potentially giant industry. You are a leader who will be comfortable coaching and managing several people as your team grows.
Requirements:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Swedish and English spoken & written
• Great sales and negotiating skills
• Experience with online marketing solutions and tools, e.g. Adwords, Facebook and affiliates.
• Excellent MS Office skills
• Creativity and ability to make complex simple.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and to prioritize.
• Ambitious and independent self-learner
• Potential into growing into a managerial position in charge of a large sales organization
• Interest in and understanding of financial and sport industry concepts and terminology
• Rigorous attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables
Meriting skills:
• Basic html formatting skills
• Sport, finance and media industry network and expertise
• Knowledge in basic photo and video editing programs and drawing tools, e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, iMovie or similar.
• Basic data cracking skills and interest. Analytical and methodical working pattern.
