Right now we want an individual to join our Sales Engineering Marine department.
Sales Engineering Marine is providing technical sales support to all Volvo Penta Market Units for marine products.
Main Responsibilities
• Provide expert support and advice on the Volvo Penta Marine product range.
• Collect boat data and give suitable recommendations regarding electronics and according to Volvo Penta installation requirements..
• Perform measurements and in some cases commissioning in the field or at boat builder location.
• Transfer competence to the market units and participate in the development of installation information and documentation.
• Be the department representative in Product Development projects with main focus on installation and application of our products.
• Work with long term development of tools and methods that will add value to our products and improve the installation quality.
• Represent Volvo Penta at Customer & OEM meetings.
Qualifications
• M. Sc, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English is required. Additional language skills are preferred.
• Experience from the marine industry is preferred.
• Experience from, and interest in, the practical operation and/or maintenance of boats is preferred.
• Experience from international contacts (and travel) is preferred.
