Sales Ahead is based at Svenska Mässan in Gothenburg, with a mission to make people and businesses exceed their sales targets with more happy customers. We are now hiring a Sales Manager for our profitabel partner in the business intelligence industry with commitment to be an innovative and leading technology brand, to increase local and global business for fast moving business owners.

Our partner helps companies worldwide find new business opportunities and partnerships with marketplace sites providing real-time availability, instant details and easy-to-use search interface. With thousands of existing customers all around the world the purpose as Sales Manager is about selling products and services to the existing customer base, as well as new members, within a defined market area. An important part is managing existing member relationships and making sure members are satisfied connecting with other members.

Principal Accountabilities
• Hitting your sales target in terms of revenue. It's key.
• Independently maintain and develop existing and new member relationships through sales activities and planned account support, in liaison with support staff.
• Grabbing opportunities to build up and farm a prospect and lead database.
• Know our product inside out clearly able to demonstrate the value of the products and services.
• Keeping our members happy with great account management from handling contracts to order changes.
• Contacting new prospects by telephone and follow up incoming sales enquiries by telephone and email.
• Administration. We all hate it but you have to handle sales opportunities for existing and new members, create offers and negotiate fees - in fact follow our sales process.
• Having a sales plan for your area of control. Report on this regularly at sales meetings.
• Make sure your personal knowledge grows and grows through continuous training.
• Work between sales support, the member and other departments to coordinate a win for all.

Qualifications and Competencies
• Previous sales experience is a must. Sales is an area you need to love and want to develop in.
• Must be able to speak and write English and preferably additional languages.
• Slick on the telephone as it will be your new best friend!
• We would like you to be educated to degree level plus experience.
• We are a tech company. You need to be happy and confident on a PC! Microsoft CRM experience is a plus.
• Able to cope with a fast paced, crazy but friendly entrepreneurial environment.
• Must have a winning attitude. Need to be able to run your own agenda and drive yourself onwards and upwards.
• Must be able to get your points across in an effective way, presentations, reports, emails, kitchen conversations, etc. but also ready to move on when you lose a debate.
• Identifying a problem is not enough. You will need to have thought of a solution too.
• We have a strong company culture. You need to quickly adapt, developing close and productive relationships with both fellow Sales Managers and members.
