Sales Manager Nordics

Ria Financial Services was founded in 1987 and it is today the third largest money transfer company in the world, with a global agent network of 170,000 locations in 130 countries on 6 continents. In addition to money transfer services, Ria offers Foreign Exchange in the Nordic market, one the most promising operations all over Europe.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a dynamic sales team which main goal is to develop and manage all sales activities (prospection/"hunting", development/"farming", promotion/marketing) in the 4 Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland).

This person will manage and direct our sales team and is key in bringing revenues to the business. This includes managing opportunities through all sales stages, including prospecting, proposal, negotiation of the conditions, selecting challenging points of sales, promote their growth and development. We expect this person to provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the company's vision and values.

As well as the above, he/she will increase by prospecting new business. This includes all activities and sales cycle steps necessary for new sales, from preliminary research to contract signing. The Sales Manager is the key resource for developing new agent relationships, guide the sales team in signing and developing the network of agents which is vital to the continued growth of the Company

For that purpose, the SM will:
• Have an excellent and detailed knowledge of the market, customers, competitors, service provided as well as the internal application used for the transactions
• Be responsible for the performance and development of the Accounts Executives
• Prepare and coordinate action plans to penetrate new markets/new nationalities/new corridors
• Operate incentive schemes that motivate members of their team to reach or exceed sales targets
• Maintain contact with principal clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

To fulfill his/her mission, the SM will spend significant portion of time in the field both with individual accounts and co-travelling with sales personnel as well as recruit, test and hire Account Executives based on criteria agreed with the Country Manager.

To be able to succeed in this role, this person needs:

• To have experience as Sales manager, preferably in money transfer, financial services or retail business; a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements, where an experience in a retail sector is highly appreciated.
• Experience in developing and executing tactical sales plans to achieve the goals & objectives
• Highly organized and effective management skills
• Is a demonstrated leader and/or has demonstrated ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
• Strong negotiation skills, strong written and verbal communication skills; equally strong listening skills
• Fluent in both Swedish and English; other Nordic languages will be highly recommended
• Availability to have flexible hours as well as to travel around 50% of the time, spending the majority of the working time in the field
